Aachen, Germany-based AC Schnitzer claims its Eagle, a hotted-up Mini based on the John Cooper Works edition hot hatch, is the fastest Mini ever. Packing 260 horsepower into a shell that has shed nearly 200 pounds, we're inclined to believe them.

The Schnitzer Eagle backs up its on-paper claims with a 1:13 blast around the Hockenheimring GP circuit. To hear Schnitzer tell it, it took the likes of a supercharged M3 and offerings from AMG to best that time.

With 260 supercharged horses on tap and wheels at each extreme corner, this thing looks like an absolute riot. Check out a video of the AC Schnitzer Eagle in action after the jump.
